Community Resources
From DDOG
We love our dogs and want to provide them with all the essentials and more. To help orient our visitors to local resources, as well as a few specialized resources outside town, we offer the following list. We link directly to local businesses with commercial sites, and we link to DavisWiki pages for chains and those businesses without commercial sites.
By providing this resource, DDOG does not endorse any of these services or businesses, nor do we imply that this is an exhaustive listing. DDOG does encourage visitors to post comments about their experiences with local businesses on DavisWiki for the benefit of all.

Emergency Preparedness
Visit our Emergency Preparedness page so the health and safety of your dog is covered in a crisis. You may also wish to familiarize yourself with the Yolo County Animal Disaster Plan.
In the event of a disaster, pets separated from their owners will be housed at Yolo County Animal Services shelter (41831 Gibson Road in Woodland) after photographing and scanning for microchip implants at a staging area. Should the shelter fill to capacity, pets will be sheltered at the Yolo County Fairgrounds (1250 East Gum in Woodland). For assistance in a disaster, contact Yolo County Animal Services at (530) 668-5287. Animals will only be released to individuals presenting "proper identification and satisfactory claim of ownership."
